Such a pretty letter! .....

aaaaand a missing Scooter....He managed to get out of his pen outside AGAIN. Once I get a job, I'm going to make a special enclosure for his or hire someone to do it.

So, I had an idea.

I need a few opinions from your lovely readers.

What do you think of me interviewing people as a sort of pen pal of the month? I know Pen Pal of the Week does the same thing, but I think it would be something cool to incorporate into my blog postings!

Also, what do you think about my doing large giveaways instead of small, individual ones? For example, a jewelery giveaway with multiple artists' pieces and a stationary giveaway of multiple products from different shops? Of course, tehre would be individual reviews of each product.

Thoughts?

It feels like Spring!

Scooter sure is liking this warmer weather! We had some camera fun when I got home from school! :)

I got some lovely mail as well! Here is the stamp from a letter from Damaris in England!

Next, I found a lovely letter form Emelea in Australia!

And lastly, I got received a wonderful letter from Kristina in Lithuania! She even sent some lovely coins for my collection!

Time to post some tortoise photos! I think i might make sundays 'Tort-Day' since there is no mail!

These guys are obviously not my tortoises, and the photos are via a tortoise forum. The owners own and breed these massive giants. This particular tortoise is named 'Cowboy' and he is an Aldabra Tortoise. These guys are a species of giant tortoises similar to Galapagos Tortoises.

Here he is! Tell me you don't go, "Awwwwe," when you see these photos! Also, this again confirms that tortoises nap!

I'm so excited that it's warm today because Scooter is getting his first natural sun light since about October! :D

Andrea Joseph!

I received only a few things today in the mail....one disability insurance statement (the usual.), a tax-ish thing from one of my banks, and an absolutely WONDERFUL letter from the lovely Johanna! I didn't photograph any of it though!

I wanted to share one of my favorite artists with you all! Her name is Andrea Joseph, and she is an absolutely fabulous sketch artist! I want her zines so, so, sooooo bad, but I can't afford them right now and I'm not sure if I'll be able to pick them up before she discontinues them! One Two.

Anywho, I found a recent post really inspirational! I wish I could draw! Check out the post!

Friday, friday, friday!

I haven't been feeling too hot today, so I just now woke up from a nap! Our hot water heater broke tonight, too, but my cousin's great husband is driving 2 hours here to install a new one for us! Yay!

Yesterday, I applied at a pet shop for a sales job and I'm so anxious to hear form them and I hope I do! I think I will call tomorrow and check on my application status, but I want the job so badly! I feel like i need to work now. Plus, I've got bills, postage to buy, a vet appointment for Scooter to pay for (don't worry, just a beak trim!), and I also want to start a 'crabitat'! What is a 'crabitat' you ask? it's a home for land hermit crabs! :D I won't be able to do so until i get a job, though. I also want to build a larger house for Scooter as well! plus, come Spring, I may be getting an African Sulcata tortoise, so I have to prepare for that!

Anywho, guess I should get on to the mail, huh? I sent out these pieces today. :)

I sent out this rather long letter plus goodies to Miss. Jennifer!

I didn't take a photo of the other I sent but it was nothing fancy! BUT it was in one of my new vellum envies! YAY!

I also made an oversized kawaii ATC (artist trading card.) today and sent it out to a special someone! I think it turned out nice. :D

And thennnn...I have to post this AMAZING package I got from one of my lovely, lovely pals, Ashley! She heard/read about me wanting air mail envelopes and she sent me THIRTY of them! Plus some more Canadian air mail stickers!

And I also wanted to show you guys my new 'Inspiration Wall' extensions! I'm slowly adding to it! Couldn't afford a bigger cork board, so I managed! haha.

Well, that's it for today! Picking up a couple fish and a larger fish tank (not by much.) to use for my starter crabitat eventually!

March 1st!

I can't believe it's March already! I spent the day looking for jobs and I'm hoping that a pet store I applied at will hire me! I don't like to get my hopes up, though!

Today, I got a lovely card from a pal over at Princeton! Cool, right? I also received some more air mail labels! Woohooo!
